It was such an honour meeting you Mr.Ghosh. I’ll never forget that day my literature professor offered me the chance to go with her to your book launch. We learnt of your work in our second year literature syllabus last year, and my professor couldn’t stop praising you. So much so that I simply had to read your work, I read ‘The Shadow Lines’ and just loved it. I was so glad that we’re studying it for our final year this year. And I still regret not bringing along my copies of, ‘The Shadow Lines’ and ‘The Sea of Poppies’ for the signing, unlike my Professor who got her entire collection. None the less I will always treasure my ‘River of Smoke’ copy.
