  1. This picture makes me think of an interesting letter by Rilke to Elizabeth Ephrussi, about the translation of his poems.
    He writes: «Help doesn’t come from the kind and cheering gardener, but from the one who holds the scissors and the spade; from denial».

    Thinking of myself – as a translator – as a constant gardener who needs several tools, all to be used with accuracy I feel at home in front of this kiosk.
